Random, yet awesome, stuff.

Late in the afternoon, the Shop Tart stopped by Coplon’s, finally taking the plunge and buying these Brian Atwood pumps she’s been craving. (Coplon’s big sale really helped her make the decision.) Yes, they will be on her feet tonight at Girls Night Out. She’s not sure what will be on top, but who cares?

New shoes! On sale!

After Coplon’s, the Shop Tart and her friend Heather — who scored a stunning Narciso Rodriguez leather skirt for a sick price, like the good kind of sick — headed to Tombo Grille, because it was totally after 5 o’clock and they wanted a cocktail. The Shop Tart was tickled to see a bison grass vodka cocktail on the menu and it didn’t disappoint. In fact, it was outstanding, with a hint of ginger and lemon zest.

Tombo stocks Zubrowka bison grass vodka, which is something you should know, because it is awesome.

The Shop Tart had a salad with whisper thin roasted beets, Feta and a delightful citrus vinaigrette. Looking at the picture makes her want to eat it again right now.

She and the ladies split a four cheese pizza, also delicious and only $5. (Tuesday is $5 pizza night at Tombo, and they are not tiny pizzas.) You can see the pizza in the background of the photo above.

Last night, the Shop Tart stopped by Verve for the Andrea Costa show. The artist was there from Atlanta and was as nice and as pretty as she could be. She is pictured below with Verve’s Christy Edens.

The store looked fab!

Even the Tank had a favorite. (Sadly for him, it was already sold.)

The Shop Tart also spotted these tree-stump candles. Totally into them. Christy says when the candle inside burns out — which the Shop Tart thinks would take forever and a day — you can just drop a pillar candle in there. Cool!

You know what else is cool? If you can’t go to Girls Night Out at 701 Whaley Street tonight — or even if you can — you can still meet the designer and see his collection up close, all day tomorrow at Coplon’s. Chris Benz will be at the event tonight and in the store tomorrow. The Shop Tart will be the quivering mess of admiration in the corner.

For more information on tonight’s event, check out Otis Taylor’s article in the State. See you there!

Oops. We must be the same size. Was thinking it was the last pair?? Anyway, I kept thinking about putting them with chocolate brown.

  3. Nancy, I bought the 7. I usually wear a 7.5, which they now have in the store. Just in case you still want them!
