Y’all remember Jonathan Oh? At WACH Fox in Columbia, he hosted a great tech segment called, “Oh! That’s Cool!” After Fox, he went to WOLO, and now he’s a meteorologist on NHK World Newsline in Tokyo, Japan. He’s a really nice guy, and his move to Tokyo was a loss for Columbia, but pretty cool for him. And the Shop Tart sure did love, “Oh! That’s Cool!” If Jonathan was still at WACH Fox, and still hosted that segment, she would totally tell him about this phone charging wristlet she spotted at Eva Skin Care the other day.
It’s a purse — and an attractive one, at that — that charges your phone! In Columbia, where the Shop Tart spends a lot of time in her car, charging is rarely an issue, because she long ago invested in a car charger. When she travels, though, phone charging is the bane of her existence. Also? She gets lost in other cities and really needs her phone to help her out of that pickle. It’s so embarrassing to have to crouch in a corner in Starbucks to charge a phone, no? So, hooray for the MightyPURSE!
And hooray for Eva. The Shop Tart has been getting her LED facials there for a while and really loves it. They always offer to have someone else do a pedicure or foot rub during the service and this is difficult to resist. Yes, it costs extra, but if you have some money in the bank, go for it. Heavenly!
Speaking of faces, how do you remove unsightly hair from yours? Though the Shop Tart has been known to run a razor over hers (shhhhh...), she prefers threading. Here in town, she’s been to Columbia Skin Clinic, where the service is offered on Wednesdays. (Maybe from 9 am until 1 pm? The Shop Tart is not sure. Please call them to find out, 803-779-7316). On a recent trip to Alexandria, Virginia, she took her hairy face in to Eyebrow Express, right there on King Street, and had an excellent experience, just in case you happen to be there.
Besides copious amounts of sunscreen, what are you doing for your skin this summer? Hope you’re having a great one!
